Bjorn

Bjorn hated that Rose bitch. Hated her with everything in him. If her head had rolled across the ground toward him, he would have kicked it from Norway to Russia without even worrying where it landed…

“You’re a very useless person, aren’t you?” Harmon asked.

“Shut your mouth, mind gamer,” Bjorn said. “I am the son of Odin—”

“Hasn’t he been dead for several hundred years? Because if so, you should stop treading on him at some point.” Harmon’s eyes gleamed with irritation, and he spat out his reply with over-the-top frustration.

Bjorn shut his mouth. Not because he didn’t have anything else to say, but because he was tired of dealing with these people. He lapsed into silence and stared at the fire. He may have hated Harmon, but Harmon was hardly the source of his problems at his point.

It was that bitch, Rose.

“If I get a chance to put a dagger in her head,” Bjorn said, glaring, as the others just sat around the fire, useless, staring, “I will do so—over and over again, you may be assured.”

He would have gladly gone back to the last one—Sienna—if he could. At least there, he didn’t hate his host. Occasionally dislike, but not hate.

Not anymore.

Not now that he had met Rose.

Gods, but he hated her…
